About Amy & Art of Reinvention

Art of Reinvention was born of my own reinvention, and fueled by two of my greatest passions: travel and photography.  

I provide a full range of travel planning services, from luxury hotel bookings, group and wellness retreats, romance and honeymoons, private villas and residences, solo travel, female-only, cruise and expeditions, multi-stop custom itineraries, or anywhere in the world you set your heart to.. your journey starts with me. 

Prior to becoming a travel advisor, I spent my career as a professional photographer with a focus on newborn, maternity, and first year of life portraits (The Newborn Lens).   In 2020, I traded my photo studio for the world, set my sights on luxury travel, and never looked back. 

Art of Reinvention is where I bring all my professional skills, relationships, and partnerships under one roof - it's a place for you to find personal reinvention through travel, wellness, & art.  

Being a luxury travel advisor is a multi-faceted profession which requires strong organizational skills, an ability to multi-task, changing perspectives, creative drive, custom software, and the mindset that if there is a will, there is a way. The journey is never a straight line, and I'm grateful for every step that brought me here, to you. 

In addition to travel and photography, I enjoy cooking, listening to music, wood-burning fires, hot thermal baths, quiet nooks, luxury spas, Texas-sized patios, long drives, farm/flea markets, changes in seasons, change in general, my Egyptian roots, and following my various whims and curiosities. 

I live in Bethesda, MD with my husband, our teenagers, and our adorably naughty floof, Havi.
